#24 Butterflies + R is for Ribbon.

Welcome back to my Butterfly Challenge.

A special edition this time as the butterflies
have been going for 1yr.
So to celebrate
there will be 3 Winners selected.

Each challenge will  be a different letter of the Alphabet.
It will always be Butterflies but with the addition
of an item/theme beginning with a chosen letter.
The twist is that my Guest Designers
will choose which letter goes next and I will supply the theme.
They will also be commenting on your entries.

You may interpret in any way you like.
Just make sure that you have Butterfly/ies
and the Theme showing somewhere on your project.

Please give a warm welcome to my next Guest Designer.

Jane Willis
(winner of #21)

Jane has chosen the following letter for you.

#24 Butterfly/ies + R is for Ribbon.

Many thanks to Mrs A for inviting me to be Guest Designer this time. I chose the letter R which, Mrs A tells me, stands for Ribbons. I’m looking forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your take on it.
I live in Hampshire with my husband, and we have two grown up daughters and 3½ grandchildren, the older two of whom love crafting with me. Before we settled here, we spent several years living overseas in Hong Kong, Brunei and Germany.
If I say I’ve been crafting forever, it’s almost true – this year I will be 60 and I started crafting with my gran when I was only about 3 years old. By the time I was 7, our house was full of crocheted lace doileys.  Over the years I've dabbled in hand and machine knitting, crochet, embroidery and cross stitch, encaustic painting and glass painting, but I always come back to my real passion, papercrafting. I started my blog, Onions and Paper, three years ago in order to share my love of craft and cooking, and my passion has grown even stronger since, because of finding so many other blogs to read and take inspiration from. There’s always something new to learn (and buy!) when you’re a crafter!

Here is Jane's card.
A beautiful white on white  card
with gorgeous embossing and intricate die cuts.

Winners #23.

Thank you all for fluttering by again.
Pleased to see as many of you joining in
with 4 new players stopping by for a flutter.
Happy to see you all.

You all entered beautiful valentine themed
projects and it was so hard to pick my favourites.

Here are my Top 3 selection.

In numerical order they are

(12)      Jean.
( Using a die that cuts the butterflies leaving the wings attached)

(17)    Di
(Used the same die cut as Jean  but the cards are so very different)
I couldn't pick one without the other!

(18) Kanda
(Covered a papier mache heart shaped box)

I asked Liz to give me her top card choice
which is

(27)    Jane Willis.
(Using a votive candle wrap on her card).

Congratulations Ladies. Please help yourselves  to  the Top 3 badge
from the side bar.

Now onto the Winner of #23

(20) Andree Clark

Congratulations Andree.
