The 10th challenge is
One layer only + your butterfly
No extra embellishments to be added just use your blank project/card.
You are free to use stamping , EF folders , Embossing powders
to name just a few which will give a one layer effect.
I have made some items which will hopefully
give you some inspiration.
I have used a cream sheet of A4 paper folded for the card.
This gives me the one layer.
Embossed with one of 'Spellbinders' new 3D folders.
The butterfly and sentiment have been
stamped directly onto the card.
Coloured with inks and marker pens.
This time I have used a pre cut patterend card blank.
I coloured the stamps prior to stamping direct to the card.
One layer but with lots of interest.
And finally
A perfect paperweight.
The winner may select one item from the following prizes in the pot.
K & Company Pillow Stickers.
Butterfly clear stamp.
Kanban Butterfly topper sheet.
Please be sure to read the rules on the tab
above and enter your creations
in Mr Linky below.
Happy Crafting
ValeryAnne.
Love those two cards, but you've really got me interested in the pebble. What did you use to paint it with before stamping - I'd love to try it out xx

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs A,
ReplyDeletewonderful challenge creations.
I was really stumped for this theme challenge.
Nothing came to mind.
Not at all happy with my entry.
Better an entry that I don't like than miss a challenge like the last one.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hmm. One layer isn't as easy as it sounds! Great challenge, though, and all the samples are brilliant.
ReplyDeleteLynne
What a great challenge, to create a one-layer butterfly card. Loved it!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous challenge Mrs A - thoroughly enjoyed it and hope to be back again! Karen x
ReplyDeleteYou have done it again. Your creations are lovely as always and your challenge....challenging! I'm sooooo happy that today I found time to play. I'm doing it this week just for fun....so please don't include me in the draw. My inside isn't one layer, so I don't think I qualify this week. Good luck to the others!
ReplyDeleteGreat inspiration and thanks for the theme, one of my favs, just hope the butterfly is not too insignificant.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I ran across this challenge. I've bought a bunch of new butterfly stamps recently and this is yet another incentive to use them! Thanks for the inspiring DT designs!
ReplyDeleteWonderful inspiration, Mrs A! Thanks for another lovely theme xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work. Only just realised that the challenge is one layer + butterfly - doh. Not sure I've got time to enter now, but I'll try.
