Thank you all so much for playing along.
Thank you all so much for playing along.
We are already more than half way through
the new set of letters and themes.
I've introduced a new mix into the challenge too!!
Each challenge will be a different letter of the Alphabet.
Each challenge will be a different letter of the Alphabet.
It will always be Butterflies with the addition
of an item/theme beginning with a chosen letter.
Along with this letter will be a corresponding colour.
You may choose to use just the letter /theme + butterfly
or use the colour + butterfly.
If you make your project
using both the letter and the colour + butterfly
you will be eligible for going into a second draw to win
an additional prize.
So that's 2 chances to win on each challenge.
My Guest Designers
will choose which letter goes next and I will supply the theme.
Hello I'm
Zoe and delighted to have been asked to be the Guest Designer for this
challenge. On reaching 60 earlier this year came retirement, completely
loving this and taking full advantage of the time it gives me to do what I love
best. What is that? Messy arty
crafty things of course!
My
earliest memories of card making are of a card and glitter set my Mum got me
when I was about 8. Because of dyslexia my thought process are pictorial
it came as a big surprise when it was explained to me that most people mentally
visualise words and letters. Try as hard as I might that skill eludes
me, but hay the compensation is a rich parade of pictures often in cartoon
form! \ little wonder then that expressing myself visually.
Happy to
play with most mediums, not so good with needle and thread but that cross
stitch project might get finished one day. Favourite activities are
things you get your hands into the messier the better. Which with
this project might be a bit of a surprise, but I love the challenge of white on
white which needs texture, light and shade to work. In the past I've
tried white stamping but it does not show up in photos so not suitable for this
project. In recent time jewellery making has re-entered my
creative palette, the inclusion of wire allowed me to bring that interest into
this with the little wire butterfly.
Our
hostess loves to see the fortnight creations and is very welcoming of new
joiners. A great deal of effort goes into running a challenge the reward
is the entries and wonderful projects people share. Please show our
lovely Mrs A you care and join in with her fun butterfly challenge. XOXO
Zoe has chosen
#63 Butterflies + W is for Wire
with the additional option of W is for the colour White on White.
So I would like to see wire of some sort on your project
along with your Butterfly/ies of course.
Here is Zoe's card
Just look at the ingenious way that Zoe
has incorporated the Wire onto her card.
Thankyou Zoe. It is truly Brilliant.
This will be such a hard one to follow!
Please pop over to Zoe's Blog to see the full details
of her lovely wire work.
Thank you for being my Guest Designer
for #63.

threaded in and out of the trellis work.
