I'm very pleased to announce the set of themes and colours for the coming year. I have thrown the letters up in the air this time round and the mix will be that the themes and colours will not be the same letter for each challenge. I have also sorted out some new prizes too.
I'm delighted to introduce you to my next Guest Designer.
Zajawka
(winner of #73)
My name is Monika. I live in Kraków- in the South of Poland. I have full-time job as a librarian :) In my free time I enjoy crafting, reading books and studying foreign languages.
Monika has chosen
the letter F for Faux which has been teamed with J for the colour Jasmine
So I would like to see a faux technique on your project. There are lots to choose from on You Tube and Splitcoast Stampers. These are just a few that I found. Stitching, marbling, buttons, metal, tarnished silver, washi tape, patina, crazed porcelain, tiles, brads, silk and glass. The colour Jasmine is a creamy yellow and don't forget your butterfly/ies.
You may choose to use just the letter/theme + butterfly or use the colour +butterfly.
If you make your project using both the theme letter and the colour +butterfly you will be eligible for going into a second draw to win an additional prize.
Here is Monika's card for you.
Please visit Monika on her blog Here for more details.
Thankyou Monika for being my Guest Designer for #77.
Please take the Guest Designer badge from the side bar.
Here is my inspiration for you.
I have used faux stitching on the front and a further faux technique inside.
Please go to my blog Here for further details and photos.

ReplyDeleteLovely inspiration ladies! Love the colour choice; I'll have to get my thinking cap on for the 'faux' and maybe flutter on by again later when I've managed to make a card! X
ReplyDeleteSo pretty are both cards x
ReplyDeletewoderful cards!
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs A,
ReplyDeletecongrats to your G/Designer and her card is very wonderful and brutifully created.
Your card is also very super and what lovely faux stitching.
Not sure if my card comes under the faux heading as I have created the paper myself so I suppose that could be faux maybe, andI have used the colour in the cenre of my flowers.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Thank you for another super challenge and for the inspiration, both cards are very pretty. Happy crafting, Sandra x
ReplyDeleteSome lovely DT cards. Not sure if faux quilling qualifies, didn't realise until yesterday that it could be done even if it is digitally!! Thought it was a bit of fun anyway although I do prefer the hands on approach really rather than 'cheating'.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Monika as GDT, her card is so pretty! And I love the Faux stitching on your gorgeous card Mrs. A! Thanks for the fun challenge!
ReplyDeleteWonderful challenge and great cards shown here.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if the yellow colour on my card is the right one, but at least I have som faux stitches.
Hugs from Switzerland,
Swissie (Liv)
