Well we are more than half way through this year's themes already! I have thrown the letters up in the air this time round and the mix will be that the themes and colours will not be the same letter for each challenge. I have also sorted out some new prizes too.
I'm delighted to welcome back my next Guest Designer.
Lia
(Winner of #82)
My name is Lia van Bruggen – Vreman and I am a crafter as long as I can remember and I love several kind of crafts like cardmaking, cross stitching and stitching embroideries on cards, drawing/painting, etc.
Several years ago I designed my own workshops in painting on fabric, glass, wood etc. and teached groups of crafters. That was big fun for more than 12 years.
Also since 20 years I am a textwriter for the editorial staff of several Dutch Craftmagazines (look at the sidebar of my blog) and sometimes I make cards and other crafts (also for kids) to be published.
It’s very nice work and often I see the new products before you can buy them in shops!
I love blogging and discovering ideas from other crafters, because everybody has her/his own style.
And I think you always can learn from each other!
Lia has chosen
the letter A for Any shape which has been teamed with Q for the colour Quartz.
So I would like to see any shaped card that is not just a square and as you can see below Quartz is basically any colour too.
Quartz colour definition:
Quartz can be colourless, white, purple, pink, brown, black, also gray, green, orange, yellow , blue and red. Sometimes multi coloured or banded.
You may choose to use just the letter/theme + butterfly or use the colour +butterfly.
If you make your project using both the theme letter and the colour +butterfly you will be eligible for going into a second draw to win an additional prize.
Here are Lia's cards for you.
Lia made two and has kindly allowed me to use them both.
Aren't they both a delight to look at. Please pop over to Lia's blog for more information on how they have been made.
Thankyou Lia for being my Guest Designer for #86.
Please take the Guest Designer badge from the side bar.
Here is my inspiration for you.
Using the Quartz colour of Blue and colourless sparkle on the butterflies wings.
Using the quartz colour of Purple and colourless parchment paper on the butterfly.

Fun challenge....you had me at quartz!! I included a photo on my post of the native quartz that we find on our property. Despite problems with my computer being slowwwwww, problems with Blogger, and ambiguous problems with my computer viewing your blog post, I still managed to squeak in at the last moment with an entry. Thanks for these lovely challenge themes!
