Welcome back to the Butterfly Challenge. Thank you all for playing along with the last challenge.  Winners results for #101 are published in the post below. Make sure you check back as it could be you. Can I please ask that Winners acknowledge their prize in the comments on the Winners post as well as emailing their details to me. This way I will know to expect an email.  Please state if you are only playing for fun so that it gives someone else the chance to win.  There are 3 prizes for this challenge again. Challenge will run for 2 weeks.
Come on in.

Lets Spin the Butterfly Wheel.

Each challenge will still be a letter of the Alphabet but there will  now be a choice of 3 Colours and 3 Themes all beginning with the chosen letter.
You must use your butterfly/ies on your creation,
then you can either choose a Theme or a Colour from the wheel  to be entered  for the 1st Prize.
If you use a Butterfly + a Theme + a Colour from the wheel then
you  will  be entered into the 2nd Prize.
Please state in your post which part of the wheel you are using to play with.
New for this Yr.
If you manage to use all 7 elements of the wheel then you will be entered into a 3rd Prize.

So lets get started.
The wheel for this challenge is

#102 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with the letter V.
Photo is not very clear but the dark colour is Violet

Violet/Vegas gold/Vermillion/Vertical pattern/Vintage Style/Vine leaves/ Butterfly.
I have used  Wikipedia's  excellent site for obtaining most of the colours chosen for the wheels. I then went through all my Promarkers, Marvey le PlumeII, Graph'it and Spectrum Noir pens to find the nearest colour match for me to use.

Here is my inspiration for you.

First card using Butterfly/ Vegas Gold / Vintage style and  a touch of Vermilion in the flowers in her hair.
.

Second  card using Butterfly/ Violet / Vertical pattern.

Please go to my blog here  for how they were  made.

Lets see how many of you can  use all seven elements of the wheel for your card.

  10. Stunning cards, Mrs. A!! Both are really pretty designs.
I'm a lover of all things purple, any shade, so the 2nd
    one is my favorite. :-)
And I'd love to play for 2nd prize (I used violet & vertical).

  13. Beautiful inspiration samples and gorgeous butterfly wheel! I just linked up my card, but I'm thinking my vermillion is too pink. If it is, just disregard and I will try again :-)

  14. Me again! I googled vermillion and mine is way too pink so I'm going to delete the reference to vermillion on my blog post so as not to embarrass myself haha. I'll go with vertical pattern. But I hope to try again with another card!

  16. Great colours and cards for the new challenge. We spent 3 wonderful weeks in England and Wales (no rain at all!!) and I don't have time for making a new card. So I am in next time again!
