Just a few more spins of the current wheel left to do and then a New Challenge Wheel will start in February when the challenge will be entering it's Sixth Year.
Come on in.
Lets Spin the Butterfly Wheel.
Each challenge will still be a letter of the Alphabet but there will now be a choice of 3 Colours and 3 Themes all beginning with the chosen letter.
You must use your butterfly/ies on your creation,
then you can either choose a Theme or a Colour from the wheel to be entered for the 1st Prize.
If you use a Butterfly + a Theme + a Colour from the wheel then
you will be entered into the 2nd Prize.
Please state in your post which part of the wheel you are using to play with.
New for this Yr.
If you manage to use all 7 elements of the wheel then you will be entered into a 3rd Prize.
So lets get started.
The wheel for this challenge is
#115 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with the letter Y.
Yale Blue/Yew/Yellow/Your Choice/Yarn /You, in the sentiment/Butterfly.
I have used Wikipedia's excellent site for obtaining most of the colours chosen for the wheels. I then went through all my Promarkers, Marvey le PlumeII, Graph'it and Spectrum Noir pens to find the nearest colour match for me to use.
Here is my inspiration for you.
My first card uses all Seven elements.
I chose to do (Stitching) as my 'Your Choice'
My second card uses Yale Blue and Butterfly
1st Prize.
(for using either One Theme or One Colour with your butterfly/ies)
Please state in your post which part of the wheel you are using to play with.
1 6x4 hunkydory print
Butterfly cut outs
Card butterfly tag
Edge card cutout dies
2 Felt filigree Butterflies
Butterfly ribbon.
2nd Prize.
(for using both a Theme and a Colour + your butterfly/ies )
Please state in your post which part of the wheel you are using to play with.

+ Woodware

3rd Prize.
(For using all 7 elements of the butterfly wheel on your project. )

Please be sure to read all the rules on the tab above
and enter your creations in Mr Linky below.
Please also state if you are only playing for fun.
Happy crafting and see you soon.
Your challenges are always interesting, Mar A... Yale blue, who’d have thought and You, mm tricky that too .. thinking cap time... 😊
ReplyDeleteDo love colour combos though.
Actually used yellow and yew on my butterfly card on last post, which didn’t make it but as it’s back dated can’t include still it’s an idea!
