CORNER POP UP CARD.

This is a picture of a finished card using the design instructions to make.

1. Cut cardstock 8.5" x 7"

2. On 8.5" side score at 2.75" down the card to bottom.

3. On 7" side score at 2.75" down the card to bottom.

4. On 7" side measure 5.5" across and make a fine pencil dot. (For the purposes of being seen I have used a ball point pen). Measure down 5.5" on the 8.5" side  as shown below and mark with a pencil dot.

5. Using a ruler join the dots up with a diagonal pencil line as shown below.

6. Now score along the pencil line. This is your third and final scoring.

7. Now Fold on the straight score lines as below.

8. Open out and fold on second straight line. 

9. Open back out flat and turn cardstock over. Now fold on the diagonal score line.

10. Cardstock should now look like below.

11. Press down on the point where all the lines dissect and the card will start to cave in. 

12. Gently pull the point down and the cardstock will continue to collapse in on itself.

13. Keep folding down making sure that the edges are square to the sides of the card.

14. Card is  now fully folded and the edges are straight. Burnish well so that the folds are nice and crisp. 

15. Card is now complete and you can embellish as required.
