#118 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with B for Bifold.

We are onto the 2nd letter of the alphabet already.I was so pleased to see how many of you came and played with the new format. Thankyou. Winners results for #117 are published in the post below. Make sure you check back as it could be you.  Can I please ask that  Winners do acknowledge their prize in the comments on the Winners post as well as emailing their details to me. This way I will know to expect an email.  Please state if you are only playing for fun so that it gives someone else the chance to win.  Challenge is for 2 weeks.

So we have a brand new wheel to spin and this yr we are going to go straight through the letters of the Alphabet starting with A.

Come on in.

Lets Spin the Butterfly Wheel.
Each challenge will be a letter of the Alphabet with  a choice of 3 Colours and 2 Themes all beginning with the chosen letter.
New for this Yr. The 7th element of the wheel is a card shape.
(The diserning amongst you will notice that there is now an added page along the top under the Butterfly Banner called Card shapes.)
There will be a card shape for the letter being used for each challenge and I will be showing a tutorial on this page with hints and tips for making the cards.
The card shape is not mandatory but if you do use it you will qualify for the top prize without having to combine all of the other 6 elements onto your card. You must of course  use your butterfly.   The shapes will all be easy ones, just a different way to either fold or cut your basic cardbase.

If you don't want to use the card shape then
You can either choose a Theme or a Colour from the wheel + Butterfly  to be entered  for the 1st Prize.

If you use a Butterfly + a Theme + a Colour from the wheel then
you  will  be entered into the 2nd Prize.
Please state in your post which part of the wheel you are using to play with.

So lets get started.
The wheel is

  6. Wonderful cards and I also went looking for the card folds tab. Needless to say I adore the pink card :) Will check back as the tab is a great idea - also it will be really good if you have the shapes in one place for reference.

  8. We had them last week so sympathise, the joys of modern technology. So sorry I've not taken part for so long, still struggling to keep abreast of must do craft but promise when I get back onto an even keel I will be along again. But appreciate you continuing to keep things going and the entries rolling in.

  10. Beautiful cards, Mrs. A!! That bi-fold card style is really pretty. I just received my Graphic 45 Flutter collection in the mail (using a GC my son had given me at Christmas...what a great guy!!). The double-sided papers, which include banana and bluebell colors, look ideal for attempting this fancy fold. Here's hoping your internet gets sorted out soon!! What a headache for you. :(
Thank you for another fun Butterfly Wheel!!

  12. Wowzers, Mrs. A! Your cards are absolutely gorgeous! I've never attempted a Bi-fold before but I love the look! I'll be checking out how you did this!!! Your new format looks wonderful and I am hoping to get back on track with your challenge this month! February was basically a write-off for me insofar as crafting goes. Trying to start March fresh!

  15. I like your bifold cards so mch and I hope, my bifold shape is ok! I also used: burgundy and bluebell colours (alcohol inks) in my 4 punched butterflies and attached bows into the holes in the folds. If I should win the 2nd prize, you can give it to someone else, because I have got these embossingfolders in my stash!
    Have a nice day!
