#150 Spin The Butterfly Wheel with G for Gap Card.

The butterflies are back after their christmas break and fluttering to go.
Come on in.
Lets Spin the Butterfly Wheel.
Each challenge will be a letter of the Alphabet with  a choice of 3 Colours , 1 Theme and a specified  Card shape  all beginning with the chosen letter.

(The discerning amongst you will notice that there is an added page along the top under the Butterfly Banner called Card shapes.)
I will be showing a link to a tutorial on this page with hints and tips for making the cards so just look under the letter being used for each challenge.

If you use a Butterfly + a Theme + a Colour from the wheel then
you  will  be entered into the 2nd Prize.

So glad to see the butterflies return.
I have made a card of this style before but want to see if I can do a better job of it this time.

January has been unseasonably warm here in Idaho and the butterflies in my stash have been fluttering all over my craft room in anticipation of your challenge starting up again! Love this fortnight's colors and themes...and I want to try the fancy fold. This one looks interesting and even attainable for me! Thank you for sharing your inspiring samples....so pretty!! I esp love the diagonal gap style with the gorgeous butterfly and cheery yellow gingham. Thanks for another fun challenge! Stay healthy and creative!

So glad your challenge is back. I am causing problems though. #3 should be http://lakefrontstampingcreations.blogspot.com/2021/01/the-house-that-stamps-built-anything_13.html, when I entered a second card it was replaced with my second card. Sorry. Hope you are doing well!

Thank you for another great challenge to start out the year. I hope you had a nice holiday season, in spite of all the COVID numbers. At the risk of sounding totally clueless, is gingham the only theme? So, a butterfly for each project, of course, but gingham as a theme in addition, plus one of the colors, right?

Hi Mrs.A. I am so happy to be participating in a Butterfly Challenge after probably a year off. (I was moving house, packed up my entire craft room, then had the move delayed for several months.) I've been really looking for something to spark my card-making, and the gap card really tickled my fancy. How fun. (Your instructions were so easy to follow, too.)I ended up using all the elements (gap card, 3 colors, gingham, and butterfly). And I had fun doing it, which is the best part.

Welcome back Mrs. from the winterbreak!

Wow clever cards Mrs A, I’m not super keen on fancy folds but really like this one.. but didn’t use your idea as was already started on entered card.
No thanks very much to wonderful prizes, too, playing just for fun, so glad could join in for a change!
Thanks for sharing, and God bless, Shaz in Oz.x
